Got Consent?

Make sure it's consensual before you get sensual.

If you are in the heat if the moment, here are some suggestions of things to say:

Are you comfortable?

Is this okay?

Do you want to slow down?

Do you want to go any further?

Communication is key! It's important to discuss and respect each other's boundaries.

We Can Do Better

Judge Aaron Persky has been cleared of any misconduct in the Stanford sexual assault case. The Commission on Judicial Performance "has concluded that there is not clear and convincing evidence of bias, abuse of authority, or other basis to conclude that Judge Persky engaged in judicial misconduct warranting discipline." This decision comes after the Judge handed down a six month sentence (of which only three months was served) to rapist Brock Turner because anything more than that would have a "severe impact" on him.

When there's no accountability for rapists or those who perpetuate rape culture we are completely minimizing sexual violence and dismissing survivors' experiences. We can do better. We need to do better.
